Each program showcases a particular musician or musical group. Programs cover many different genres: jazz, classical, blues, folk, world, young artists. While most programs are taped in the CCX Create TV studio, we also film some on location. The Producers' goal is to make great music available to a larger audience than many musicians would normally reach. More than 200 at-risk high school students from all over the nation are in Washington DC to meet their Congressmen and learn leadership skills. For most of them this is their first trip to the Nation’s Capital. They are members of Jobs for America’s Graduates, a non-profit national network that has served over 1.6 million youth in its 45 year history. The goal is to empower at-risk students with skills and support to succeed in school, employment and life. Over 80,000 students participate in JAG in over 30 states, many of whom face significant challenges in underserved areas with essential life and career skills.
